Circle Group deploys traffic forecasting solution at Port of Catania

Circle Group has announced the implementation of its Milos Intelligence solution at the Port of Catania, as part of a project aimed at forecasting the flow of vehicles entering and exiting the port. The deployment positions Circle Group as digital partner to the Port of Catania and forms part of the company’s broader focus on developing artificial intelligence capabilities for smart intermodal logistics hubs. The Milos Intelligence solution was configured to estimate the temporal distribution of traffic at port gates, providing Port System Authority operators with an advanced planning and monitoring tool. The system generates predictive traffic trend analysis to improve operational coordination and identify potential congestion situations in advance, enabling more effective resource allocation and timely corrective intervention. The implementation was preceded by a structured analysis of the port logistics context, encompassing process mapping, definition of the system’s operational scope and identification of the information flows required to feed the predictive engine.
