Root returns as captain as England crush Pakistan inside three days at Headingley

England began Joe Root’s second spell as captain with a dominant victory over Pakistan at Headingley, dismissing their opponents inside three days. The win came against what BBC Sport described as a poor Pakistan performance and provided an emphatic start to Root’s renewed leadership role. The result gives England an early boost under their reinstated skipper and wraps up a brief, one-sided contest at the Leeds ground.

REPOWR, ATBS team up to expand trailer access for owner-operators

REPOWR has partnered with American Truck Business Services to provide owner-operators with discounted access to on-demand trailers while expanding business and tax services available to carriers using its platform. Chattanooga, Tennessee-based REPOWR announced the partnership Friday with ATBS, a tax, bookkeeping and business consulting firm focused on owner-operators and independent contractors. Under the agreement, ATBS clients will gain access to same-day trailer rentals through REPOWR’s Universal Trailer Network. REPOWR customers will have access to ATBS tax and business consulting services. The arrangement is aimed at giving independent truckers greater flexibility to secure equipment without purchasing trailers or committing to long-term leases.
