RoadOne acquires Higgins Transport Service in Charleston

RoadOne IntermodaLogistics has acquired Higgins Transport Service LLC , expanding its drayage and intermodal operations in Charleston, South Carolina. Higgins Transport Service is a Charleston-based agent of Wall Street Intermodal. The company provides port drayage and intermodal freight transportation services. The acquisition will also add 15 drivers to RoadOne’s Charleston operations. RoadOne expands Charleston capacity RoadOne said the deal will strengthen its ability to serve importers, exporters, retailers and manufacturers moving cargo through Charleston.
