Navios Partners takes VLCC newbuild spend past $840m with fresh trio

New York-listed Navios Maritime Partners has added three more scrubber-fitted VLCC newbuildings in a $361. 5m deal, taking its fresh supertanker programme to seven ships worth $843. 5m. The Angeliki Frangou-led owner agreed the latest acquisitions in June and July at $120. 5m per ship, with deliveries scheduled for the second half of 2028 and during 2029.
