MacGregor wins 165-tonne crane order for Jan De Nul newbuild

MacGregor has secured a contract to supply a 165-tonne active heave compensated (AHC) crane for a new Ulstein SX121 vessel ordered by Jan De Nul. The vessel is under construction at China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) in China. The order forms part of a 1+1 vessel programme , with delivery of the crane scheduled for February 2028. MacGregor booked the contract in its second-quarter 2026 order intake.
