IAG Cargo expands pharma network with new Kuala Lumpur station

IAG Cargo has expanded its pharmaceutical logistics network with a new Constant Climate station at Kuala Lumpur International Airport . The addition strengthens the company’s cold chain capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region. IAG Cargo now has 13 Constant Climate-approved stations across Asia-Pacific and around 100 worldwide. Kuala Lumpur joins global cold chain network Constant Climate is IAG Cargo’s cold chain solution for pharmaceutical shipments. It is designed for products such as vaccines, biotech products and diagnostic samples.

Laredo hits low-balance truck toll accounts with fines up to $2,000

Commercial carriers crossing the U. S. -Mexico border through Laredo’s World Trade Bridge and Colombia-Solidarity Bridge could face penalties of up to $2,000 under a new policy aimed at reducing traffic disruptions caused by insufficient toll account balances. The city of Laredo Bridge System began enforcing the updated TradeTag policy on Monday. Under the program, commercial vehicles arriving at the bridge with insufficient funds in their Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI), or TradeTag, accounts will be allowed to continue crossing, but administrative penalties will be assessed to the carrier’s account.

The suspects allegedly redirected shipments, sold the goods and converted proceeds into crypto assets. Authorities have not disclosed the total loss or cargo types.
