Damen delivers Combi Freighter to Juru Agentura Forsa

Damen Shipyards Group has delivered a Combi Freighter 3850 to Lithuania-based Juru Agentura Forsa, with the handover ceremony attended by Director Antanas Anilionis and Technical Superintendent Pavel Kirzhner on behalf of Forsa, and Sales Manager Koert Slobbe representing Damen. The vessel, named CF Anja, carries forward a name with longstanding heritage in the Forsa fleet and also marks a significant milestone as the first newbuild vessel in the company’s dry cargo fleet. The delivery reflects Forsa’s ambition to modernise its fleet, support customers exploring new business opportunities and strengthen the company’s global presence. The CF 3850 represents a new generation of Damen’s cargo vessel portfolio and has attracted orders for more than 50 units since its launch five years ago. The design features a hull optimised using computational fluid dynamics to minimise resistance and reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and is prepared for the integration of a broad range of additional efficiency-enhancing solutions.
