Circle Group advances transport document digitalisation across Europe

Circle Group has highlighted growing adoption of digital transport documents across Europe , as new regulatory requirements come into force. Spain is emerging as a key market for this transition. The country is preparing to introduce the Electronic Administrative Control Document (DeCA) on 5 October 2026. According to Circle Group, preparations for DeCA are also increasing interest in the electronic CMR (e-CMR) for road freight. Spain moves towards digital transport documents The upcoming DeCA requirement is encouraging logistics and transport companies in Spain to move away from paper-based processes.
