BNSF expands intermodal service between Phoenix and DFW

BNSF Railway has announced an expanded intermodal service between the Phoenix metropolitan area and the Dallas-Fort Worth region, offering customers a faster, more economical and reliable freight solution between two of the Southwest’s fastest-growing markets. The enhanced service, driven by increased customer demand, will operate six days per week and is designed to support the conversion of over-the-road freight to rail. The Phoenix to North Texas route is offered in just over three days from train departure to availability, leveraging BNSF’s intermodal network efficiency and capacity. The service utilises the Alliance Intermodal Facility in North Texas, one of the nation’s premier inland logistics hubs, providing access to significant warehouse and distribution capacity and connectivity to major consumer markets across the United States. The expanded service also lays the groundwork for further capacity growth in Arizona.
